Meal Store Silos - V-Mac Silos with Augur
As an alternative to using a Silo on a gantry, all standard V-Mac Silo’s can be fitted with an augur to fill a Diet Feeder Wagon.
| Features
- Reverse drive augur is fitted (4.5 inch in a galvanized pipe) - motor is below the cone in the storage area allowing easy maintenance.
- High output - the augur throughput is 200 kg per minute.
- Fully wired to start/stop switch - all you need to do is provide power to the start/stoop switch.
- Augur sleeve - an augur sleeve fitted to the discharge pipe helps avoid meal spillage and separation.

- Ideal for locations for where you don’t have space for a gantry.
- Can be fitted on smaller silos which would be uneconomic to put on a gantry.
- As the silo is enclosed and secure, the augur motor and stop start mechanism is protect from the weather.
